  30. Finally I see somebody that knows something about INIT Strings.
  31. All above is absolutely correct.
  32. The only addition I would add is the S10 Register.
  33. It is set for only 7 tenths of a second that the modem will wait after
  34. loss of carrier before hanging up.
  35. By setting it  S10=20 with an &W to set it to NVRAM you will get a full
  36. two second before the modem hangs up.  This helps sometimes with line hits
  37. that normally might knock you off line.
